I wanted to have partial search in one of my drupal powered website. I checked all forums / blogs - but did not get any good solution, so i tried to hack the code to suit my requirement. Attached file is drop-and-replace for search.module (usually in modules/search/)
Admin can choose if they want "partial text match" search or "full text" match - through search settings available in admin -> Search Settings.
Right now the code is working fine for me at http://www.e-openvision-gift.com/
Please check the code and inform me if any issue,.

I've been using this on a drupal 6.13 installation and it works great, but the admin functions don't work.

I might not have installed properly: Is this supposed to replace the search.module file in modules >> search?
That results in white-screening a 6.8 site.
Strong Letters
Can we show results on bold or strong text? Some think as text found ..
